At the successful completion of this course, you will be issued with a qualification and statement of results for: UEE20120 – Certificate II in Split Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Systems This qualification is nationally recognised and will lead to a licenced outcome with the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC).
This course involves simulated workplace practical training additional to the online theory components.
2-6 days of practical hands on training with an online theory assessment which can be taken at any time.
To take this course, you must be at least one of the following: - A licensed electrician holding a current electrical work licence. - A qualified plumber or gas fitter interested in recognition of prior learning (RPL). - A 3rd or 4th electrical apprentice who has successfully completed the units of competency outlined in the first years of an electrotechnology apprenticeship and has at least two years of industry experience. - For non-electrical workers - recognition of prior learning (RPL) is offered if you have a trade qualification in plumbing/gas fitting.
On completion of the split system air conditioning course at one of our delivery locations, you may undertake further studies to gain additional qualifications. These include a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (UEE32220) or other qualifications listed in the UEE Training Package.
